Product Developer (m/f/o)

For the earliest possible date, we are seeking a Product developer (m/f/o)
to strengthen our team, develop elastomer, plastic and metal components for the automotive industry, and provide customer support ranging from the inquiry to the start of series production.
Tasks:
- Conception, design, calculation and development of elastomer composite parts as well as metal and plastic components for the automotive industry in the area of chassis, transmission and engine mounts
- Specifications for the CAD design of NVH components on the basis of customer requirements
- Project management in domestic and international customer development projects
- Providing support for customer inquiries
- Analysis of specifications and installation spaces as well as technical requirements
- Organization of and participation in design reviews and other project meetings, incl. customer visits
- Tracking the project progress in the inquiry prototype and series phase
- Reporting on the project progress / status to the product development team leader
- Working with the sales department to analyze customer inquiries for the purpose of cost calculation
- Testing the use of plastic recyclates
- Preparation of design guidelines
Requirements:
- Successfully completed training as a technician or engineer
in the field of mechanical engineering, automotive technology or comparable disciplines - Development, design & product experience in the field of
anti-vibration components - Knowledge of elastomer materials and the vulcanization process
- Experience in international project management, preferably in the automotive industry
- Reliable knowledge of standard OEM development processes and reliable application of tools typical for the industry, such as APQP, FMEA, DVP, etc.
- Excellent written and spoken German- and English-language skills
- Knowledge of the automotive industry is desirable
- Experience in working with international teams and multinational projects is an advantage
