WEGU synerSil GmbH produces approx. 600 tons of silicone and fluorosilicone compounds (HTV) per year, both for the parent company, WEGU Schwingungsdämpfung GmbH, and for the free market. The focus for WEGU GmbH Schwingungsdämpfung is on compounds with very tight tolerances and, in the external sector, on specialties and special solutions that are not otherwise available on the market. Application engineer (m/f/d)
Tasks:
- Complete processing of customer orders – from entry to delivery
- Coordination and planning of production, taking into account the availability of raw materials, machine capacities and personnel deployment
- Supporting and advising customers
- Maintaining and updating relevant master data in our systems
- Preparation of technical documents, technical data sheets, acceptance test certificates and certificates of conformity
- Technical and organizational support for development work
- Support in production to ensure smooth processes
- Preparation of dispatch in compliance with specified deadlines and standards
- Regularly checking stock levels and carrying out interim inventories
- Managing employees and organizing processes within the team
Requirements:
- Completed technical training or commercial training with a technical background
- Professional experience in the rubber industry is desirable
- A basic understanding of chemical and process engineering processes is an advantage
- Very good knowledge of common MS Office applications, especially Excel
- Experience in working with SAP
- Very good written and spoken German and good English skills
- Structured, reliable and independent way of working
- Friendly demeanor and collegial interaction with employees
- Understanding of commercial contexts
