In the globally operating WEGU Group, WEGU GmbH Lightweight Systems is a key player in the plastics processing sector in Germany and Slovakia. We develop and produce innovative injection moulded components for the automotive industry. In a highly automated production, we manufacture components with weights from 0.001 kg to 4.5 kg on machines from 600 kN to 32,000 kN in 1K, 2K and sandwich processes.
For products and processes that are becoming increasingly complex, we are now looking for a person for our plant in Kassel (Germany): Production manager (m/f/d)
Tasks:
- Monitoring of production planning and control
- Budgeting
- Monitoring of production
- Ensuring compliance with standards (norms, technical regulations, etc.)
- Employee management and personnel development
- Responsibility for maintenance and servicing of machinery and equipment
- Compliance with quality standards
- Continuous improvement of the production processes
- Investment planning
- Occupational safety and environmental protection
- Reporting to the company management
- Compliance with all economic specifications
- Communication with sister companies in the Group
Requirements:
- High level of technical understanding based on training or studies
- Knowledge in the field of plastics or rubber metal processing or in process engineering desirable
- Knowledge of the relevant standards and regulations (DIN, etc.)
- Business management skills and entrepreneurial thinking
- Leadership skills
- Advanced communication skills (German / English)
- Advanced skills in SAP/3 – ABAP
- Organizational talent
- Problem-solving skills
- Ability to work under high pressure
- Willingness and ability to continuously pursue further qualifications
